Add interest to your landscapes by including buildings. Covered will be techniques to make them ‘sit’ convincingly in the landscape, considering their tone, colour, proportion, texture, etc.

This workshop will include demonstrations and instruction by the tutor and time to work on your own paintings with individual help and feedback.
Set of water-based paints (watercolour, gouache or acrylic). Good quality ‘Bockingford’ watercolour paper (size A4 140lb (300gsm), ‘NOT’ (or cold pressed) surface), a variety of soft nylon watercolour brushes to include a flat (square ended), size ¾”, masking fluid (if you have it), white wax candle, 2 pots for water, small water spray, flat palette, drawing board, masking tape, at least an A4 sketch pad, long ruler, HB pencil, rubber, newspaper or plastic cover to protect tables. Glasses if required. Packed lunch.

Venue is on the ground floor and there is a car park next to the Community Centre. Tea and coffee will be available.
