This workshop aims to introduce mono printing and combine it with other media. Mono printing is a single impression of an image. The image can be made by hand with a variety of implements and techniques. The resulting prints will then be worked on with a variety of media to create exciting paintings or drawings.

These will include demonstrations by tutor; individual practice by student; instruction on a group and individual basis; question and answer, etc.


Acrylic paints/watercolour paints, watercolour paper, drawing paper, various sized nylon and bristle brushes, small old decorators brush, palette knife, black/sepia ink, oil pastels, soft pastels, sponge, old credit card (to cut up), palette to mix paints, 2 water pots, water spray bottle, masking tape, kitchen towel, pencil (HB), sketch pad, drawing board if you have one, apron, rags, newspaper or plastic table cloth to protect tables. Packed lunch.

Car parking is alongside the front and one side of hall. Tea and coffee provided at a small charge. It is on the ground floor and accessible for wheelchairs, with disabled accessible toilet.
