This workshop aims to develop your skills in applying acrylic paint and combining it with various other media.


Beginners and improvers.

These will include demonstrations by tutor; individual practice by student; instruction on a group and individual basis; question and answer, etc.


Acrylic paints, paper/board suitable for acrylic (size A4/A3), various sized nylon and bristle brushes, palette knives, plastic palette or large old china plate, 2 water pots, water spray bottle, oil pastels, soft pastels, white wrapping tissue paper, masking tape, kitchen towel, pencil (HB), sketch pad, drawing board if you have one, apron, rags, newspaper or plastic table cloth to protect tables and any acrylic painting equipment you have already. Packed lunch. Optional equipment; stay-wet palette or tear-off disposable.

Car parking is alongside the front and one side of hall. Tea and coffee provided at a small charge. It is on the ground floor and accessible for wheelchairs, with disabled accessible toilet.
