This course will help you develop painting skills by looking at painting in art history. We shall explore the artists’ methods, approaches and the context in which they produced their work. Hopefully, this will encourage students to look at art in different ways as well as developing their own skills. It will be structured around demonstrations, set work and students’ own projects. A variety of techniques and subjects will be covered.

Beginners and improvers
